As I mentioned in Chapter 7, you learn how to cook exactly like you learned everything else you’ve ever set out to do in life: you just do it. There is nothing holding you back besides potential fear of embarrassment, or fear of waste. Dismiss both of these worries. Only cook for guests those dishes you’ve mastered. And how much gas do you waste, ever? Just get over your fears and let yourself experiment.
You can watch cooking shows on TV, or buy cookbooks to get started. Do whatever suits you, but nothing will really compare to just diving right in and learning, failing, correcting, improving, and repeating.
Here are some random approaches to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s difficult to provide a detailed meal plan, because I never eat in any formula, and I rarely prepare by recipe. Rather than furnishing some solid road map so that you can just do what I say, I want to encourage you to think for yourselves, as though your life depended upon it—which, incidentally, it does. These are just examples. Nothing more.

“Free the Animal!”
I am 43 pages into this e-book and I am loving it. As a frequent reader of Richard's I can say this book does not disappoint. It is full of his wit and common sense. Real good common sense from a world that gives you very little. Great job Richard! T
