Alice apologizes and says she was only shocked about what happened. After looking at his bloody and torn shirt, Alice tells Jack he needs to get to a hospital. He tells her it’s not that bad and he’ll go tomorrow. Alice examines his wound and is shocked to see only small pencil sized holes. Jack rebuffs her other questions and drops her off home.

School drags on for Alice, and Milo meets her at her locker at the end of the day. They argue about Jack and Alice calls him out on the way he looked at Jack. Alice tells him it’s okay if he’s gay and he runs away from her. He ignores her at home and Jack picks her up after school. He tells her in a nervous and excited way: “I think it’s time you met my family.”
