Most interviewers leave around 5 minutes for you to ask questions at the end of a consulting interview. A lot of applicants will say something like "Oh, I don't have any questions" or they'll ask something that could easily have been found by looking at the consulting company's website or by Googling.
They ask the question just for the sake of asking. Most people don't take this seriously enough!
This is really your chance to impress the interviewer with one final question that makes them think, "wow, is this actually something that an undergraduate asks?"If the interviewer is impressed by your insightfulness, thorough research, or clear understanding of what the job is like, it reaffirms that you're a good fit and that you've clearly thought through the position and what it entails. If the interviewer was not sure about your fit, he now will be inclined to give you the benefit of the doubt than ding you because of your intelligent question!
