Make sure you leverage the internship opportunity for your next goal. Although the internship experience ensures a bullet point on a resume, gaining the experience is not enough. You need a letter of recommendation from a manager; to get a stellar letter of recommendation, you must over-perform.
During the first week of my internship, I was in the Nariman Point office helping my manger with an easy task. I knew I had to show initiative to be able to get some of the more challenging work.
