According to his author’s page in Goodreads, Lehrer was born on June 25, 1981, in Los Angeles. Lehrer is a Columbia graduate with a BS in chemistry, and studied as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, where he focused on twentieth century literature and philosophy. He has worked as an associate editor for Wired, and has written three books, including Imagine. His previous books are How We Decide, and Proust Was a Neuroscientist. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and child.
