The application process for 2+2 is really pretty simple and straightforward. After all the applications you have had to prepare to get to this point, the 2 + 2 Program application process is a breeze!

Why Apply for 2+2?

At the end of my junior year at Harvard, I really didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted to do, but I thought that the 2+2 experience would be very helpful to me.

I felt that management experience would be helpful in anything I wanted to do.  I applied for the 2 + 2 Program and I got the results at the beginning of my senior year, so there was about a 2 - 3 month turnaround.

When I heard about the 2+2 program, I was having kind of a rough time.

Many people have the same sort of experience I had. I started out in pre-med, but then I became interested in the policy side of health care, so I focused a lot on health policy. However, switching to business school didn't make a lot of sense to me.

That's when I found out about the 2+2 program.

It is designed for people like me who could definitely benefit from management experience based on career aspiration. Lots of students have a career goal that might fit in with business but do not see themselves as a true candidate for Harvard Business School.

The concept of the 2+2 program really intrigued me. The cool thing about the 2+2 is that it opens up the possibilities of business school to a lot of people who would otherwise not consider getting this type of experience.

Once I had decided to look into 2+2, I attended an information session and learned what defined a non-traditional applicant. I felt this definition suited me, so I put in my application.

5 Steps to Apply for 2+2

1. You have to take the GMAT or the GRE.

5. You submit it all online.

After you have submitted your application, you  should hear whether or not you will be interviewed within a couple of months.

We'll have plenty of advice for you in upcoming articles on how to best prepare in each of those steps!
